Medicare Made Simple

Clear Guidance to Help You Choose with Confidence

Medicare doesn’t have to be overwhelming. At Dylan James Insurance, I simplify the process by clearly explaining your Medicare options and helping you understand how each plan works. Whether you’re enrolling for the first time or reviewing your current coverage, I’ll guide you step by step so you can make informed healthcare decisions with confidence.

Medicare Parts A & B

Medicare Parts A and B, often called Original Medicare, form the foundation of your Medicare coverage. Together, they provide essential protection for many of your core healthcare needs.

  • Part A covers hospital care, skilled nursing facility stays, hospice services, and limited home health care, giving you peace of mind during times when you need extra medical support.

  • Part B covers doctor visits, outpatient care, preventive services, and durable medical equipment, helping you stay healthy and manage everyday medical needs.

While Original Medicare is a strong starting point, it doesn’t cover everything. That’s why many people choose to enhance their protection with Medicare Supplement (Medigap) plans for added peace of mind and fewer out-of-pocket costs.

Medicare Supplement (Medigap) Plans

Medicare Supplement plans (also called Medigap) are designed to help pay for costs not covered by Original Medicare, such as deductibles, copayments, and coinsurance. These plans are offered by private insurers but are standardized for consistency and clarity.

I’ll compare top supplement plans to find the one that provides peace of mind and financial protection for your healthcare needs.

Medicare Part C (Medicare Advantage)

Medicare Part C, also known as Medicare Advantage, bundles the benefits of Original Medicare (Parts A & B) and often adds extra coverage like prescription drugs, dental, vision, and hearing. Offered by private insurers approved by Medicare, these plans can provide a convenient all-in-one solution for your healthcare needs.

We’ll help you explore the different Advantage Plan options and compare benefits to find the best fit for your health and lifestyle.

Medicare Part D

Medicare Part D offers coverage for prescription medications, helping reduce out-of-pocket costs for essential drugs. These plans are available through private insurers and are designed to complement Original Medicare or a Medicare Supplement plan.

I’ll guide you through plan comparisons to ensure you find one that fits both your health needs and budget.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at Dylan@sbginsurancegroup.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Most people don't pay a premium for Part A if they've worked and paid Medicare taxes for at least 10 years. Part B does have a monthly premium, which may vary depending on your income. There are also deductibles and coinsurance for both parts.

You're typically eligible at age 65. If you're already receiving Social Security, you'll be enrolled automatically. Otherwise, your Initial Enrollment Period begins three months before your 65th birthday and ends three months after. Missing this window could lead to penalties.

Medigap works alongside Original Medicare, while Advantage (Part C) replaces it with an all-in-one plan.

Part C combines Parts A & B benefits with additional coverage options in a single plan offered by private insurers

It's optional, but without coverage, you could face late-enrollment penalties and pay more for medications.

Each plan has a formulary (drug list). We'll review your prescriptions to match you with the best plan.
